Ms. Cynthia Rutledge

Ms. Cynthia Rutledge has been teaching music almost 20 years in various positions in the Chicago area. She has taught at Benedictine University, Waubonsee Community College, and several Catholic Schools in both the Diocese of Joliet and the Archdiocese of Chicago. Ms. Rutledge studied music performance at both Northern Illinois University in percussion, and DePaul University in Jazz Voice. After teaching in the Catholic schools, she loved it so much that she wanted to finally obtain her Teaching Certificate. In 2016, she received her license from Saint Xavier University in Elementary Ed K-9 with endorsements in Music, Middle School, and Language Arts. In her free time, Ms. Rutledge enjoys swimming, salsa dancing, watching the Blackhawks, learning Theology and Spanish, and spending time with friends and family.
